Dr. Alexander Lachapelle
I lead the development and implementation of our precision medicine products.
I trained as a medical doctor at McGill University, in Canada. I am also completing a PhD in Engineering at the University of Oxford, as a Rhodes Scholar, focusing on on machine learning methods to predict tuberculosis drug response from its genome. I believe in combining clinical care, data science, machine learning and entrepreneurship to advance healthcare.
I previously worked on product requirements and strategy at Imagen, a New York-based Google-backed technology start-up applying machine learning to diagnostic imaging. I served on a number of international medical education boards, and spent three years at a leading Canadian medical non-profit.
Outside work, I enjoy travelling, playing the guitar, skiing, and learning.BACK TO TEAM PAGE
