Dr. Felicity Allen
My role is to develop innovative methods for the integration of functional genomics data into population level genetic analysis.
My previous work has spanned a wide range of applications and continents. From audio processing methods for Cochlear implants in Australia, to in-silico prediction of mass spectra of small chemical molecules in Canada, and finally to the prediction and analysis of mutational DNA repair events resulting from CRISPR/Cas9 in the UK. My expertise is applications of statistical inference and machine learning in medicine and biology.
Outside work I enjoy tennis and time with my family.
