I'm working on the development and maintenance of the scientific software used within the Precision Health Team, in order to advance our ability to model and predict disease using genomic data.
My area of expertise is the development of robust software to process and organise large amounts of unstructured data. I recently submitted my PhD at the University of Cambridge, which involved the automatic generation of databases from the scientific literature to advance progress in third-generation solar cells. I love playing music, particularly piano and guitar. I enjoy gigging around the Oxford area, where I play bass in a funk group and an alternative/indie group. In my spare time I play badminton, squash, and like hiking, reading and video games.BACK TO TEAM PAGE
