Performing data analysis as part of the team in charge with functional annotation of variants.

The focus of my research training has been on long-range gene regulation by non-coding elements and the impact of variants on these elements, with an emphasis on open chromatin data in blood. I use both R and Python for analysis and visualisation.

I undertook my doctoral studies in Genomics Medicine and Statistics at the Weatherall Institute for Molecular Medicine, University of Oxford, followed by a brief postdoctoral position with the WIGWAM Consortium. Before joining Genomics plc I worked for SevenBridges, a biomedical data analysis startup in London, as an Algorithmics R&D Scientist.

I am anĀ avid reader and love to travel. Keeping active is a must (running and spinning), seeing how much I enjoy cooking.
